Regularly, new substances are included in Annex 14 by the European Commission with a view to limiting their use on European soil. Last February, substances potentially used in the cosmetics sector were added to this appendix. This webinar aims to provide you with an overview of the authorization process from the annexation of the substance to the submission of the dossier, as well as the new substances listed in cosmetic uses.

Fragrances are found in different product categories, both in cosmetics and in toys. These compounds are subject to IFRA standards ensuring the safe use of concentrates by consumers.
In January 2020, the 49th Amendment was released involving many changes to standards and product categories. What are the changes for new and old compounds? What are the impacts for the perfume industry?
