3D printing: a response to the challenges of the cosmetics industry

The future of the cosmetics industry is taking on a whole new dimension thanks to 3D Printing, a booming technology that offers a multitude of benefits. Particularly through its speed of prototyping, its infinite flexibility in terms of shapes and colors and its power to design tailor-made packaging (personalization).

During a previous workshop dedicated to additive printing, we identified the major technical challenges facing the cosmetics industry. Among these challenges, the choice of raw materials (polymers) and the finishing of the prototypes.

We are waiting for you on November 21, 2023 at the HUB Expo & Congress in Louviers from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. to understand and discuss the challenges of 3D printing in the cosmetics sector.

In the program :

  • 3 interventions

- New biosourced materials for carrying out eco-prototyping by FRANCOFLIL

- Exploration of processes using powdered polymers by ARKEMA

- Prototyping and its finishes linked to the requirements of the cosmetic sector (personalization, metallization) by VOLUM-E

  • BtoB meeting to meet additive printing experts
  • Workshop “Designing a 3D printed pastry” , an example of technological transfer for the cosmetics sector led by LA PATISSERIE NUMERIQUE
