Coordinated from its Brussels office, COSMETIC VALLEY initiates and actively participates in several European networks and collaborative projects to strengthen the influence of the cosmetics industry at the European level. Its European strategy is structured around four pillars:

GO4Cosmetics – European regions united for cosmetics

GO4Cosmetics is the leading European partnership dedicated to the cosmetics industry, launched in 2021 as part of the European Commission's Smart Specialisation Platform (S3). Driven by the regions, it brings together local ecosystems, businesses, research institutions, and public decision-makers to align regional strategies, strengthen the sector's competitiveness, and establish cosmetics as a key European industrial priority. GO4Cosmetics supports the digital and environmental transition, raises public awareness, and builds resilience across the entire value chain, from R&D to markets.

GLOBAL COSMETICS CLUSTER – The European cosmetics industry on a global scale

Global Cosmetics Cluster-Europe is the European meta-cluster for the cosmetics industry, structured around a common strategy aimed at strengthening the competitiveness and internationalization of companies, particularly SMEs. By federating European clusters, it consolidates existing ecosystems, supports the emergence of new cosmetics territories, and deploys operational actions to support industrial development, access to international markets, and the economic visibility of the European cosmetics sector on a global scale.

ACTT4Cosmetics – Accelerating European innovation for sustainable and competitive cosmetics

ACTT4Cosmetics, coordinated by COSMETIC VALLEY, is a key European project aimed at strengthening cooperation between European cosmetics ecosystems and accelerating collaborative innovation to support the environmental, digital, and societal transitions of the industry. Within this same European framework, COSMETIC VALLEY is also involved in other complementary European projects ( Loire Valley Data Hub , INNTERACT , DIHNAMIC , SMACC+ , etc.), which enable the experimentation and deployment of concrete solutions and involve companies in European collaborations. Together, these initiatives contribute to strengthening the competitiveness, sustainability, and innovation capacity of the cosmetics value chain across Europe.

The Value of Beauty – For the recognition of cosmetics in accordance with European industrial policies

The Value of Beauty is an alliance aiming to raise awareness of the strategic importance of the European beauty and personal care value chain, highlighting its positive economic and societal impact. The entire European sector is united for the first time under a single initiative to deliver a unified message to policymakers. Within The Value of Beauty alliance's board, COSMETIC VALLEY is making a strong statement: " Making cosmetics the 15th most important strategic ecosystem in Europe means supporting 3.5 million jobs and strengthening innovation and competitiveness, the cornerstones of Europe's industrial future ."
