COSMETIC VALLEY continues its tour of France's regions: in Brittany✨
Cosmetic Valley continues its tour of France's regions and stopped off in Rennes for a new edition of its COSMETIC CONTACT . This event brought together various players in the cosmetics industry for a day dedicated to exchange and innovation.
The concept of Blue Beauty , centered on sustainability and marine resources, took center stage during the discussions. Sustainability expert Alice Vitoux highlighted the essential role of the ocean in the transition to a regenerative future.
The event, co-organized with Biotech Santé Bretagne and in the presence of Wilfried Verna , Deputy Director General of the Brittany Region, also highlighted the importance of regional collaborations to maintain French competitiveness in the global cosmetics market.
Feedback on field training: “Innovating with algae in cosmetics”
At the same time, Cosmetic Valley held a specialized training course on algae on September 18 and 19 in partnership with CEVA (Centre d'Études et de Valorisation des Algues). Organized on the Pen-Lan peninsula, this training alternated theory and practice, with field trips and laboratory workshops. Participants were able to explore the exceptional properties of algae and discuss the many opportunities they offer to the cosmetics industry.
Participants included representatives from companies such as SEPPIC , Laboratoires Expanscience , as well as Sonia Ramou, a young entrepreneur.
These two events marked an important step for the cosmetics industry in Brittany.
