An iconic place, open to all
The House of Cosmetics is a major project spearheaded by COSMETIC VALLEY and Chartres Métropole. It stems from a strong ambition: to offer the French cosmetics industry an iconic location befitting the excellence of its companies and its global reach. Located in Chartres, opposite the Cathedral, it occupies a remarkable heritage site within a building entirely redesigned by Jean-Michel Wilmotte. It will serve as a workspace and meeting room, a cultural and heritage center, and a hub for knowledge sharing and training, open to all, from professionals to the general public, starting in 2028.
This unifying project brings together the talents, expertise, and innovations that make our ecosystem strong. It embodies the collective desire to promote our industry, which is both rooted in its history and resolutely focused on the future, to highlight our commitments to responsible cosmetics, while creating a space for exchange and discovery around our sector.
