THE COSMETIC VICTORIES - WINNERS 2024

✨ The 9th edition of the International Innovation Competition took place yesterday at the Hôtel Pastoret, Place de la Concorde in Paris, awarding prizes to the two winners in the following categories: 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞́𝐦𝐢𝐪𝐮𝐞 and 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞.
The six finalists, selected from 111 applications by the scientific jury last February, presented their work to the second jury, this time composed of major French and international cosmetic brands.
✋ Among this prestigious jury, chaired by Marc-Antoine Jamet and Laurence Dorlhac: Isabelle Benoit of Naos Group, Estelle Bouvet of Groupe Rocher, Patrick Choisy of LVMH Research, Jean-Christophe Choulot of Caudalie, Marie Côte of the CNRS (French National Centre for Scientific Research), Anne De Witte of Cantabria Labs, Carine Felix of Shiseido, Jose Ginestar Gonzalez of Sisley Paris, Florent Mas of Groupe Sothys, Christophe Masson of Cosmetic Valley, Marc Mazodier of ESSEC Business School, Valérie Michaut of L'Oréal, Sandrine Ottonello of Bpifrance, David Panyella of Puig, Mickaël POLETTI d'Hermès, Katell Vie de Groupe Clarins, François VIOT de SFC - Société Française de Cosmétologie.

🏆 For the academic prizeThe project "Deciphering the Code of Scent: a Bio-Inspired AI for Accurate Odor Perception Prediction," led by Matej Hladiš of Université Côte d’Azur,
🏆 For the industrial priceThe project "Revolutionizing The Future Of Bio-Ingredients With The Power Of Microbes & Green Chemistry," led by Prateek M. of the German company BIOWEG, was awarded the prize.
A huge congratulations to all the finalists: Maeva Giraudo, Poutoum P. Samire, Ohar Bendror Bendas, and Denys Shevchenko.
Following the awards ceremony, hosted by Laurence Dorlhac, participants enjoyed a networking cocktail reception with international innovation leaders.
