The Lipids & Cosmetics congress will return to Bordeaux for its 5th edition, on January 28 & 29, 2026.
A major challenge for the industry, innovation in the field of lipids is at the heart of the Lipids & Cosmetics congress. Bringing together nearly 200 international participants, in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, come and share your work, present your results or discover the latest initiatives in the field of lipids.
On this occasion, the Scientific Committee of the congress is launching a call for oral communications and posters on the following themes:
Innovation and science are at the heart of today's cosmetics industry, while ensuring the preservation of its historical and timeless values (safety, performance, well-being, etc.). Today, new challenges must be considered, such as naturalness, sustainability, inclusivity, and personalization. At the heart of this transformation, lipids play a key role: essential to the structure and protection of the skin, they are at the center of modern formulations, combining biological efficacy and respect for the environment.
The search for transparency and ethical solutions is particularly eagerly awaited by consumers who wish to better understand the composition of their products, their origin, and their safety for health and the environment. This quest is accompanied by a growing desire for traceability and reliable certifications. The sensory experience remains essential to attract, retain, and always better meet the expectations of an increasingly informed public. Thus, contemporary cosmetics is built at the crossroads of scientific expertise, ethical commitment, and sensory emotion. It is in this context that the Lipids & Cosmetics 2026 congress will be structured around 6 themes, centered on lipids and their applications for:
